Dr Rafał Trzeciakowski specialises in matters relating to generational business succession and corporate advisory in the broad sense, including transactional matters. He advises primarily family businesses on ownership and asset structuring, while also having extensive experience in ongoing legal services for companies and NGOs.
A lawyer with many years of experience gained at reputable law firms, he holds a doctorate in law and has an academic background. Outside of work, he is an international beer judge and a sports enthusiast, with a particular passion for English football.
Experience
Dr Rafał Trzeciakowski joined the firm’s team in 2026 as Senior Associate. Prior to that, he spent 14 years with Warsaw-based law firms, where he led succession processes for some of Poland’s largest family businesses, managed Polish and international M&A transactions, and conducted multi-million-value litigation. On behalf of those firms, he also provided ongoing legal services to State Treasury companies and local government units.
Knowledge sharing
Dr Rafał Trzeciakowski is co-author of a commentary to the Act on Family Foundations and the author of numerous publications in the fields of commercial, administrative, and constitutional law.
Education
He is a graduate of the University of Warsaw in political science and of SWPS University in law, where he obtained his doctorate on issues at the intersection of constitutional and administrative law under the supervision of Professor Marek Chmaj. He was admitted to the roll of attorneys-at-law in 2018 by the Regional Chamber of Attorneys-at-Law in Warsaw.
