She specialises in intellectual property law, with a particular focus on copyright and related rights. She also advises clients in the music and creative industries and handles matters concerning the protection of personal rights. Her professional interests additionally encompass media, film, new technologies, as well as art and the art market.
She is passionate about art and culture, particularly 20th-century art, architecture, and music. She is also interested in issues relating to the Polish art and antiques market, the auction market, and the protection of cultural heritage and cultural property. In her free time, she enjoys running and windsurfing.
Experience
She gained professional experience in the music and creative sectors, providing legal services to entities operating in the music and art markets, including record labels, as well as creators and artists. She also collaborated with a litigation law firm, participating in civil proceedings, particularly those concerning the protection of personal rights. Her interest in the intersection of law and art was further developed through student internships at cultural institutions.
Education
She graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law and Administration and in Art History from the Faculty of Culture and Arts at the University of Warsaw. She also studied at the University of Oslo as part of a student exchange programme. She completed postgraduate studies in the Art and Antiques Market at Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow University and in Intellectual Property Law: Technology, Media and Communications at the Jagiellonian University. She is currently a trainee advocate with the Warsaw Bar Association.
