Aleksandra Szwajkowska deals with intellectual property law, with a particular focus on copyright, advertising and media law. Her areas of interest also include industrial property law and labour law.
Passionate about photography and contemporary art. She is interested in the sociology of art and reportage, both film and literary. On summer weekends she can be found on the Hel Peninsula.
Experience
She gained her first professional experience by engaging in voluntary work and activities of non-governmental organisations, including Amnesty International. She has been involved in litigation concerning infringements of personal rights of individuals and legal entities, as well as in proceedings concerning the protection of intellectual property rights, in particular artistic creation. She gained her experience in the art trade sector during her internship in private galleries.
Education
Fifth-year law student at the University of Warsaw. Graduated with a first degree in Art History from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Involved in scholarly activities during her studies by publishing essays in student journals published with the support of the Academy of Fine Arts.
