Justyna specialises in civil law and intellectual property law, with a particular focus on copyright, advertising and media, and brand protection. She regularly advises businesses in the creative and entertainment sectors, including film and television producers.
Outside of work, she is an avid fan of concerts and music festivals. She is always keen to find out whether film adaptations live up to their literary originals. Her favourite way to unwind is by spending time by the water.
Experience
Justyna has extensive experience gained at leading law firms, where she advised clients operating in the film, advertising, e-commerce, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, FMCG, and IT sectors.
She advises clients on copyright-related matters, film and television production, trademark protection, marketing and advertising, as well as conducting business in the digital environment. She regularly drafts and negotiates agreements concerning the exploitation of intellectual property rights and marketing activities.
She represents clients in proceedings before Intellectual Property Courts, civil courts, and commercial courts, particularly in disputes involving intellectual property infringements, protection of personal rights, acts of unfair competition, and damages claims.
Education
Justyna graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. She completed the Intellectual Property Law School run by the Hugo Grotius Intellectual Property Rights Centre. She was admitted to the Bar of Attorneys-at-Law (Regional Chamber of Attorneys-at-Law in Toruń) in 2017.
