Marlena specialises in the protection of personal rights of individuals and legal persons. She is close to issues of image, reputation and good name protection. She is involved in proceedings against unfair competition. She also deals with intellectual property law, with particular emphasis on copyright, advertising and media law. Her interests also include the law of new technologies, particularly issues related to artificial intelligence.
In her free time, she surrounds herself with music – either practicing her vocal skills or ballroom dancing.

She gained her first professional experience in Polish law firms. Previously associated with LSW law firm, where she supported a team of lawyers in litigation concerning infringement of personal rights of individuals and legal persons, as well as in proceedings concerning protection of intellectual property rights and combating unfair competition.

Currently a speaker at numerous conferences and training courses on legal regulations concerning artificial intelligence.
As part of her student activities, together with the Academic Circle of Capital Markets Law, she has co-organised nationwide projects such as Rynkologia, Corporate Law Academy and the Capital Markets Law Tournament three times. In 2021, she also co-organised a legal track as part of the Private Equity Academy organised in cooperation with the SGH Investor’s Club.
Education
A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. As a student, she was actively involved for three years in the Capital Markets Law Student Association, co-organizing nationwide projects. She developed her passion for intellectual property law through classes at the H. Grotius Centre for Intellectual Property Rights.
During her studies, she also participated in an Erasmus+ exchange at Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto. She is currently a trainee attorney at law at the Warsaw Bar Association.
