Katarzyna specialises in civil law, intellectual property law and issues concerning the fight against unfair competition. She advises on the protection of personal rights and provides legal support in managing media crises. She is a valued litigator, entrusted with the protection of their intellectual property rights and personal rights by numerous clients: advertising agencies, media houses, representatives of the creative and scientific industries, companies from the IT services, pharmaceutical and medical device markets, politicians and social organisations.
A born organiser and activist. Outside her working hours, she is involved in work for the bar association and in projects devoted to the protection of civil rights and freedoms, including patients’ rights. Incorrigible foodie. An amateur singer. Spends her leisure time sailing and in the mountains.
She gained her professional experience in reputable Warsaw law firms specialising in intellectual property law, e-commerce and litigation law.
Her professional successes and social activity have been recognised by the competition chapter of the jubilee 10th edition of the “Rising Stars Lawyers – leaders of tomorrow 2021” competition organised by Wolters Kluwer Polska. She received 2nd place in the competition. In 2021 and 2023, she received the Rising Star accolade in the IP STARS ranking, published by Managing IP.
Prior to joining SKP in 2022, she worked with the LSW law firm for five years.
Katarzyna conducts trainings on e-commerce, media law, press law and advertising law, which are very popular among clients, as well as additional classes for students of the Faculty of Law and Administration at Jagiellonian University within the “IP Student” project. As part of her activity in the Warsaw Bar Association, she co-authors a guide for young lawyers on how to set up and develop your own law firm.
