Specialises in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings. He is associated with the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Due to his experience, he comprehensively advises entrepreneurs at many important stages of their functioning – from structuring business undertakings, through the stage of organisation and development, to effective exit from the business or safe termination of activity.
A lawyer with experience gained both at a law firm and the in-house legal department of a regulated market entity. He considers trust and a deep understanding of business as the foundation of good cooperation between a lawyer and a client. Privately, a sports enthusiast, especially sailing, tennis and skiing.
Since 2022, he co-founded the law firm SKP, where he is the managing partner. Prior to founding SKP, he served for 3.5 years as General Counsel and Head of Legal at a national pharmacy chain, where he built the legal department from scratch. Previously, for over 9 years, he also worked for the LSW law firm.
He coordinated the work of the legal department, providing comprehensive legal services to the chain consisting of over 50 companies operating in the pharmaceutical market, as well as supervising the functioning of the management office within the organisation. He was responsible for the implementation of a number of standardised procedures for group operations, document flow and training in the legal area. He has managed legal projects in the following areas: corporate governance, internal reorganisation, shared services centre operations, mergers and acquisitions, franchise network development, IT implementation, e-commerce, investments in warehousing, logistics and automation, digitisation of processes, securing business secrets, and regulation and compliance (including pharmaceutical care, RODO/GDPR and compliance procedures).
Previously, on the firm’s side, he provided comprehensive legal services in the area of corporate law, M&A transactions (both share and asset deals), private equity investments, group structuring and ongoing corporate issues. He supported private equity/venture capital funds, among others, in corporate, transactional and investment matters. He has advised entrepreneurs and represented them in bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings, both on the creditor and debtor side. He has also advised on corporate and transactional aspects of the commercialisation of R&D projects.
A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration and the American Law Course organised by the University of Gdańsk and the Chicago-Kent College of Law. He holds a postgraduate diploma in Law and Economics of Capital Markets from the Warsaw School of Economics and in Bankruptcy and Restructuring of Enterprises from Kozminski University and managerial training organised by ICAN Institute. He is entered on the list of attorneys-at-law atto of the Warsaw Bar Association of Attorneys-at-Law (OIRP Warszawa) and on the list of restructuring advisors maintained by the Ministry of Justice.
